Coco peat

Coco Peat is natural fiber made out of coconut husks. The extraction of coconut fiber from husks gives this byproduct called coco-peat, which is a 100% natural growing medium, ideal growing media for all types of potted plants as well as for growing vegetables, flowers or herbs from seeds.

Uses

Coco peat is an excellent growing medium for home & lawn garden plants. It can be directly incorporated into the garden soil and widely used with potted plants, Mix in soil at 25/75 ratio. It can also be used as a mulch around garden plants to help the soil retain moisture and prevent weed growth, also it is one of the best media for seed germination.

Benefits

Coco peat improve water retention, aeration and decrease the risk of the soil fungus and root diseases. Improves aeration in the soil for optimal root growth while maintaining the ideal nutrient availability for plants, helps to retain a high amount of moisture and the physical and biochemical properties of cocopeat make it resistant to bacterial and fungal growth.  It only begins to break down when it is ten years old, thus providing long-term benefits to plant
